We've made it deep into the fjords. We're laying over in Andalsnes, a small tourist town and mountain climbing center at the junction of Romdalsfjord and Isfjord, at the mouth of the River Ruama. Soon, the World BASE Race starts here, when competitors hurl themselves off cliffs to race to the valley far below, using only squirrel suits and paragliders to control their descent. For now, we're content to hike the local mountains and view the fjords from high above. We shove off tomorrow after saying goodbye to Emma who leave us this evening on the Oslo bus.
