Plan B

We've put in to Eigersund, a refuge for mariners trying to make it across an 80-mile stretch of unprotected coast. It wasn't the 30-knot winds that caused us to turn in, but the four-meter swells topped with whitecaps. Our new Plan B is to wait for a bit less violent seas and perhaps some drier air, then set sail again for Farsund, with an intermediate stop in Hidra if conditions warrant. While we wait, we'll busy ourselves with some overdue line whipping and perhaps a shore walk or two. We're in no rush.
