Getting Real

We've received our first pictures of Windleblo!

Back in December, we asked if the Yard would take pictures of Windleblo under construction. We were miffed when told that they couldn't accommodate this request.

But where there's a will there's a way.

Small world that it is, we learned a couple of months ago that our Mahina Tiare III cohort Chris Adams was taking delivery of his new HR34 on June 16th. I quickly emailed him to reconnect and look ahead to summer fun. He replied, informing me of a future trip to Ellos to check on his boat and deliver some gear.

Today, he emailed me some photos of Windleblo taken recently with his camera phone. They are posted below.

All along, we kept sending money (our final payment was wired last week) with only faith keeping us confident that our boat would become real. Now, these pictures prove Windleblo is getting very real indeed!
